Saturday 19th September saw the conclusion of the 2009 netball season for the Waiuku Netball Centre.  Although the weather wasn't fantastic it held off for the Prizegiving and March Past. 

Sharni Hunter Snr Vice President gave the Closing Speech and presented all the trophies to the deserving winners.  As Opening Day was severly hampered by the weather our March Past was done on Closing Day instead and the Uniform Cups were presented best Junior Club uniform was won by Waiuku Primary and Senior Club was won by Skin For Life.  A special presentation was given to the St John's organisers who do a grand job during the season attending to minor and major injuries, their expertise was definitely appreciated.

A raffle had been run by the Club for 2 tickets to the Silver Ferns v Australian Diamonds on 23rd September, $100 Vanilla gift basket and a Lauran Langman signed netball this was won by Maryn Bensemann.

The last New World Volunteer was also drawn and the winner was Liandra Conradie well done to a young Waiuku College pupil who coaches and umpires.
