Waiuku Netball Centre was established in 1954.  We service the greater Waiuku area, from Manukau Peninsula to Otaua, Aka Aka and Waiau Pa.  We have 79 teams and 23 Clubs in our competition on a Saturday and on Friday afternoons from 4-5pm we run a Fun Ferns session for beginners this usually has approximately 80 young people participating.

For many years our center existed with four courts and a small pavilion.  We upgraded our pavilion and then extended the courts to six.  A couple of years later we built our grandstand, which has been fantastic on cold wet days.

In 2002 we demolished the original pavilion and erected a brand new two story pavilion which we hope will last us for many years to come.  Amazing what a band of determined woman can achieve!!!

 Our Center is run by a group of very enthusiastic volunteers who give their time willingly for the sport.  We are supported by our Patroness, Life Members and Service Award holders.

We hold monthly meetings with Management and at least one representative from each Club.  These meetings are held at our netball courts on the first Monday of the month from February to October inclusive.
